What a professional! I instructed Scott (Birchall) after an initial no pressure chat about a termination of a lease on a commercial property we were leasing. We had ongoing problems with the landlord regarding breach of contract including but not limited to unable to allow peaceful enjoyment of the premises. My wife and I would sincerely like to thank Scott Birchall of Birch Law. I had contacted at least six law firms from one of the biggest firms in London, through to ones that I believed specialised in claims against financial advisors for unsuitable advice. Scott was absolutely light years ahead with his extensive knowledge of what was required in our specific case. Trying to deal with the Financial Ombudsman Service as well as the Financial Conduct Authority is almost impossible for an ordinary investor who has lost out financially from poor advice. Scott not only understands all the current complexities of dealing with these authorities, he also genuinely cares about getting a successful outcome. However, getting a favourable decision, does not necessarily mean you will get compensation. Scott knows all the additional steps required to get a decision enforced at Court. He keeps in touch as soon as there were any developments.

Scott is not a Monday to Friday 9-5 lawyer. There have been many occasions when I received emails at unorthodox times. One even came through at 1:30 in the middle of the night. He took and made calls in the evenings as well as at the weekends. When, finally our financial advisor, had no alternative but to pay compensation, Scott informed me of our success within minutes of hearing it himself. He is a guy that speaks like your brother, or your mate. He does not communicate in legal jargon as if he is trying to impress you.

If you go with any other lawyer, I wish you all the luck in the world, as you may need it. Having Scott on your side takes a tremendous amount of stress off a truly terrible situation.
